In a world that’s “socially distanced” and politically divided, our ROC Multisport athletes united in sport & spirit this weekend to complete our own team triathlon. Everyone chipped in some miles, “relay” style, to finish the Ultra Distance Triathlon from afar, but as a community. 10km SWIM, 421km BIKE, 84km RUN
The purpose of this virtual get-together was to highlight and CELEBRATE the diversity of our athletes: something that is typically absent from the multisport world.
As we recognize and act on the inequities that allow our sport and world to be imbalanced and unwelcoming to several groups of people, it’s also important to recognize that we can defy the status quo just by opening our hearts and sharing our passion for sport with each other.
